♥ to lose a notebook was the least of one's worries: to lose a notebook was a catastrophe.

i just purchased my first moleskine 18 month planner,
and i must confess: i think i'm in love.

it is the perfect size for throwing into my bag,
has an elastic band that keeps every little thing bound together,
it has an extra little folder in the back to store anything i want,
and though i proudly carried this louis vuitton agenda book last year,
i feel that it was almost too pristine, too perfect to be in my posession.
the moleskine, on the other hand, is more conducive to a creative soul
who never stays in the lines, demolishes and dog ears books
and spills coffee all over everything.

it is no wonder these "legendary notebooks"
are modelled after the little black notebooks toted around
and made marvelously messy by famous artists like vangogh and matisse
and great writers like ernest hemingway and bruce chatwin, the author
responsible for coming up with the term "moleskine" to describe
his favorite journals that he would purchase by the dozen
in a little parisian stationery shop before every journey.

you can be sure that i will have my little black notebook with me
during my travels this weekend just in case i happen to catch
a glimpse of glamour.

until then, please enjoy these insanely gorgeous illustrations
from some very talented artists on my moleskine artworks:

and if paper goods are your version of porn,
then you are in for a treat!
the videos below will blow your mind.
