don't get me wrong, i love living, working and playing in the city,

but there is a little part of me that longs for the simplicity

and peacefulness of country living.

until the day that nick and i trade in our small apartment for a small farm,

i will have to live vicariously through the sun drenched splendor of

carl christensen's photography.

i am drawn to photography because the feelings it evokes are so instantaneous.

even a mere glance beckons viewers to occupy a fresh perspective,

to see the world from a different angle and to appreciate every last detail.
